- SHOOT A 5 MINUTE DOCUMENTARY OF UNIQUE AND ICONIC IMAGES IN YOUR LGA.
- YOUR SUBMITTED VIDEOS SHOULD BE COMPLETE, EDITED WITH NARRATION AND END CREDITS; ALL IN THE 5 MINUTES.
MYTHS AND LEGENDS OF RIVERS STATE COMPETITION OPEN TO ALL WRITERS, RESEARCHERS, HISTORIANS, etc IN THE 23 LGAs OF RIVERS STATE
- Participants should write a well-researched article of at least a Myth and a Legend of Rivers state in about 1000 words typed on font size 12, A4, (Times New Roman).
- Participants may submit more than one entry, but not more than three entries.
This is open to Visual Art and Graphic Artists in all the 23 LGAs of Rivers State.
- Contestants are expected to paint iconic images or make a craft of their choice, unique to Rivers State.
- Please note that no digitally generated image/work shall be accepted.
- Participants should be between the ages of 18 & 35 years.
This is an open call to up and coming comedians in Rivers State to Register on the Rivers State Tourism Development Agency’s platform for further instructions. Rejigging the Comedy Industry in Rivers State is one of the low hanging priority of the Agency.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Note that submitting your entries to the Rivers State Tourism Development Agency (RSTDA) for the category you chose to participate in, in its Low Hanging Fruits contest, you confirm that:
- You are the sole author and that it is your original work.
- RSTDA has the right to use the photo, graphics or video submitted any way RSTDA pleases to promote tourism in Rivers State.
- You are the sole copyright holder.
- You have not licensed any rights in the work that will conflict with the usage rights required by RSTDA.
- You have the permission of any persons in the work (image or reference), or if they are under 16, the consent of their parent or guardian to grant the usage rights required by RSTDA.
- You have permission from the owners of the property shown in the work to grant the usage rights required by RSTDA.
- That creative works submitted does not include trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any other third person or entity.
- That creative works submitted does not contain names, likenesses, or other characteristics identifying celebrities or other public figures, living or dead.
- You will be responsible for any claim made by any third party in respect of your entry and to fully indemnify RSTDA and its sponsors in respect of all royalties, fees and any other monies owing to any person or entity by reference or breaching any of the foregoing.
The persons who have given incomplete or inaccurate personal and contact details will be disqualified, as will be the persons who refuse that their creative works – which are necessary for the contest – be collected, kept and used.
Participation in the contest implies that participants accept in its entirety these rules.
Non-compliance with the rules results in the automatic cancellation of the participation in the contest and of the candidacy for the prize
Similarly, inaccurate or dishonest declarations, or any fraud, results in the participant’s disqualification
The data contained in the contest is strictly covered by professional secrecy, and this also applies to all information communicated to RSTDA during the contest.
Please do not post any photographs or content that are obscene, vulgar, pornographic, hateful, threatening, racist, sexist, discriminatory, or which otherwise violates local or international laws.
